Besides content, there are several things you need to consider such as website layout, navigation, traffic, posts Indexing, page setup.

In this article, I will be sharing a detailed guide on how to get Adsense approval on Blogger blog. You’ll get ideas of technical and content aspects for Adsense approval.

Blogger Adsense Approval Tricks in 2022

Blogger Adsense Approval

1. Content

Monetizing a blog with Adsense means monetizing your blog’s content. Google Adsense recommends blog publishers to create only high-quality unique content. That’s why you should always focus on creating unique content that provides value to your blog readers.

Writing unique content is not enough, your content needs to be easily readable for your readers. So you have to learn some SEO and content writing skills too.

  • Split a long paragraph text into short paragraphs.
  • Make use of heading, sub-heading, and minor-heading on your content.
  • Make your content grammar error-free.

For Adsense approval, it is necessary to write lengthy content. You have to create at least 20 posts on your blog and the length of content must be greater than 500 words. Repeating some paragraphs or content on each post is not allowed.

While choosing images for your blog, use only copyright-free images. You can create thumbnails & images using Canva. You can find royalty-free images in photo stock sites such as Pixabay & Pexels.

2. Blog Niche

Except for Adult, Drugs, Gambling, Hacking/Cracking, Child Abuse, Terrorism niche you are allowed to get Adsense approval on every blog niche. Adsense doesn’t give approval on all languages so make sure the language on which you are creating content is eligible on Adsense.

3. Make Blog Posts SEO Optimized

Make sure your blog loads fast and fits easily onMake your blog posts SEO optimized with Meta Title and Description Tag. The meta tags describe and help crawler bots to know what the content is about.

Every day a huge number of Adsense applications are submitted. It is not possible to review every single website, so the Adsense review team boosts their task with the help of crawler bot. That’s why it is necessary to have a Meta Title and Description in your blogs.

You are allowed to write Meta Title up to 69 characters and Meta Description should be less than 156 characters (including spaces). You can use the Google SERP Snippet Optimization tool to write an optimized Meta Title and Description.

Add “Alt Tags” for every image you upload on your blog posts.

4. Necessary Page Setup

Before applying for Adsense, you have to set up necessary pages like About, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and a Contact page. These pages are essential requirements that show you as a professional blogger.

Your Blogger contact form must work & you must receive mail when someone sends you a message. Add additional information below contact form like Facebook page link, Twitter profile link & Address.

5. Blogger Template

Choosing a right template for your Blogger blog can help you to get Adsense approval. Always look for responsive SEO-friendly templates rather than Adsense friendly templates.

A responsive template must have a clean & professional design, top & main menu bar, and fast loading time. Make use of a good font-family and font-size in your blog.

If a Blogger template looks responsive in desktop view then make sure it is also responsive on mobile devices. The design of your template should not distract the reader’s attention.

 6. Fully Developed Site

If you apply for Adsense without developing your site/blog completely then you’ll get rejected with an under construction issue.

When you install a template/theme, you have to remove the default logo/favicon, ad banners, and social media links. Then design a beautiful logo & favicon and upload on your blog and add your own social media links.

Create a top menu bar and a main menu bar. Display the page name in the top menu bar. Display category or labels name in the main menu bar. Creating a menu helps your readers to easily navigate every page of your website.

Never leave even a single menu-item empty. Add at least 3 posts on each category/label you display on the main menu bar.

7. Traffic:

Traffic is not a mandatory requirement for Adsense approval. Pageviews are not considered while reviewing a site by the Adsense team.

I have found some newbie bloggers using bots and online tools to exchange traffic. Such illegal activity on your blog may not lead you to get Adsense approval.

You can share your blog post link on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and social bookmarking websites such as Pinterest, Reddit, Mix, and Medium to drive quality traffic on your blog.

8. Connect your Blog on Search Console

Adding your Blog’s link on Google Search Console helps you in indexing your posts and finding possible issues on your blog.

It is necessary to have indexed at least 20 posts on Google’s search engine for Adsense approval. You can discover the indexed pages on Google by putting a query “site:yourdomain.blogspot.com” or “site:yourdomain.com”.

site indexing check in Google

If you have deleted some posts which are already indexed on Google then it is necessary to specify crawler bots not to index the deleted post’s link. Make sure your template has a 404 page also because while reviewing your Adsense application, the review team may treat a deleted post as an empty page

    • Congratulations Ashok. I am so happy because the tips I have shared here worked for you to get Adsense approval. Best of luck.

    • Hey Ashok, if you are uploading images on your blog by directly downloading from Google then stop it. You can use free stock image sites or use Canva where you can create stunning featured image & picture for your blog. Don’t add unnecessary colors in your content. Increase the content length of your blogs. You guys are adding online generated content in the privacy policy, terms & condition pages. Not only the content of the blog posts but also the content of different pages need to be unique.

    • First, develop your blog completely. Create a “Contact Us” page and add a contact form inside it too. Show all categories of your blog in the main menu bar. You are running Ads of another advertising network so if you want Adsense approval then remove all those Ads from your blog. Don’t leave footer empty!
Make sure the images you upload are original and copyright-free. Improve your content and make it easy to read for your readers.

    • Because of COVID-19, the Adsense review and some support options may be unavailable or delayed. Make sure your blog is qualified for Adsense and wait for some time. In this period you can grow your blog, drive more traffic.

        • First, make sure whether the language you are using to write content is accepted or not by Adsense. I suggest you use a custom Blogger template. Add a logo and favicon in your blog. Add more valuable words in your blog posts. Add About, Contact, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use page too then display all pages in menu bar.

  2. Sir, I asked you a query regarding my blog 15 days ago.
Please reply if my blog is ready for adsense approval??🙏🙏

        • Change your text color because it is hampering user experience. You still don’t have a contact form on the contact page. Make sure the pictures you include in the blog posts are copyright-free. If your content is original then no need to add references at the end. Submit your blog in search console to check whether there is any indexing issue.

    • Well, your content is great looking but there are few things necessary to make your blog eligible for Adsense.
Add a logo and favicon by removing the default Blogger favicon from your blog.
You need to write lengthy content. You have just 100 to 300 words in your post so make them lengthy by adding quality valuable words.
Add a contact form on your contact us page so your visitors can contact you through the blog. For adding contact form you can use online form builder tools too.
Go through this blog post to add Contact Us form in Blogger.

      • Thank you sir, for your valuable feedback.

Could you please guide me for the following.

        1. Logo and favicon addition
        2. Could you please share some examples of quality valuable words, my initial posts are lengthy (based on 2000-3000 words). Could you please view them and let me know if they are appropriate?

I just got the following email from Google search console

        Coverage issues detected:

Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 Coverage issues:

        Top Warnings

Warnings are suggestions for improvement. Some warnings can affect your appearance on Search; some might be reclassified as errors in the future. The following warnings were found on your site:

        Indexed, though blocked by robots.txt

We recommend that you fix these issues when possible to enable the best experience and coverage in Google Search.

Could you please advice what should I do in this matter?

I am highly obliged by your help and guidance.

        • You have to create a logo that is relevant to your site title and later you can generate the favicon from the logo using some online tool. Search console shows such coverage issues only when you have blocked some URLs or labels in your robots.txt. If you really want to fix those issues and allow Google to crawl then simply edit robots.txt.
